Tucker Dalton

Office Manager

Tucker is an enthusiastic sound engineer and has produced hundreds of audiobooks and has mixed and recorded hundreds of great songs. Working in New York and Rhode Island studios for the last 15 years, he has had the priviledge of working with some of the most talented and well-known musicians. Formal training before and after Bard College in Jazz and music recording, and a childhood filled with books, naturally gave way to recorded voice production. Tucker has helped to craft several award-winning fiction audiobooks and non-fiction memoirs. Out of the office Tucker loves running with his dog, Ruthie, playing music, and baking (cookies primarily – with any luck a batch may make it into your session). In Tucker’s multifaceted administrative role at CDM Sound Studios, from books to film to podcasts to music, he loves the art and cares for the artist, making CDM a studio that feels like home.

Katherine Cook

Engineer

Katherine began her audio career as a classical musician at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she recorded everything from soloists and small chamber groups to full opera productions. She continued her education with internships at the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival, where she spent a summer recording musicians of the highest caliber, and later with the Blue Man Group’s New York audio production team.

After moving into the voiceover world, Katherine has recorded and edited podcasts, museum audio tours, voiceovers for TV and videogames, and award-winning audiobooks (including 2017’s APA pick The Greatest: My Own Story). She is happy to combine her technical skills with a lifelong love of reading and is proud to join the dedicated CDM team.

Cathleen Conte

Engineer

Cathleen began her career in sound when she was asked to step into the role as production sound mixer on an independent film project. Recording sound became a passion of hers and she felt working with a team was always so rewarding. She studied Film TV Radio production at NYIT, where she earned her BFA in Communications. She found a home in post production and dedicated her focus on capturing best quality sound for voice over, foley and music tracking.

Cathleen has worked with great cinema talent and artists over the years, but will always say the same about each. It’s important to create a trust with your voice over actor, making sure they know you are on their team. This will always help to yield the best sound recording session.  When your voice over talent is comfortable and trusts you, they will deliver an even better performance every time.

Michael Bognar

Engineer

Growing up playing in and recording local bands, Mike’s passion for music led him to pursue a career in audio. After earning a B.S. in Music and Sound Recording at the University of New Haven, Mike interned at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN‬, where he helped record artists in the Music City scene.

Homesick, Mike moved back to New Jersey, where he began editing audiobooks for Milgrom Productions. Wanting to become more involved in voiceover and dialogue audio, he was led to CDM Studios. In the summer of 2018, he gratefully became a member of the CDM team.

As a musician, Mike plays guitar, keyboards, and drums. Aside from music and audio, Mike enjoys watching the Yankees and spending time in nature.
